I am a researcher on Meteorology, focused on understanding the physics of cloud formation and development. My main goal as a researcher is to contribute to the understanding of the effects of atmospheric pollution on clouds. The clouds over the Amazon interest me greatly, since the region allows comparisons of very pristine conditions in remote parts of the forest to highly polluted clouds due to biomass burning.
